Six Sundays through Romans 8 — exploring freedom, adoption, creation, and the love that nothing can separate us from.
"There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." — Freedom as commission, not escape.
"To set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace." — Coming home to your own life.
"You have received the spirit of adoption." — The family of the new creation.
"The creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the children of God."
"The Spirit intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words." — You are not alone in your silence.
"Neither death nor life… will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Join Us This Sunday
We draw from the Wesleyan tradition — grounded in the Bible, informed by reason, tradition, and lived experience.
Regardless of your background, questions, or struggles, there is a place for you at our table. All means all.
Faith without action is incomplete. We are committed to justice, mercy, and caring for our neighbors in Billings and beyond.
We give thanks for Brian's thirty faithful years of service to Billings First United Methodist Church.

Every week, volunteers from Billings First UMC prepare and distribute sandwiches to people experiencing homelessness and food insecurity in downtown Billings. The Sandwich Ministry is one of the most visible expressions of our call to love our neighbors.
We also support Walk to Emmaus retreats, Tuesday Men's Group, youth programs through Youth 406, and a range of adult and family ministries — all rooted in the Wesleyan commitment to works of mercy.
Whether you want to volunteer, find support, or simply connect with a caring community in Billings — you belong here.

Neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
